OK so this is my first WordPress post. I had a xanga(?) back in middle school, but I believe that was more to toy with my next door neighbor, although that’s a different story.
Anyhow this is supposed to be a somewhat scholastic blog. Although my dorm is playing RockBand at the moment, so bear with any discretions or tangents.
So lets talk about my Calculus class. I now understand the bad ratings for Prof. Coco. Outside of seeming to assume everyone has taken calc before (makes no sense?) he has the incredible ability to not explain things. The first day of class we went right into limits and applying them to formulas…or something. I’m not really sure.
Today he gave us a pop quiz of 4 questions saying after math 151 we should all be able to do them. After taking it, he discovered he had written one wrongly…and started discussing the frist two for the first time..
But outside of the scholarly stuff college is quite a change.
No more mothers nagging (although mine did nag less than others), more freedom, choices and decisions and interactions and people.
Where’s this going?
Although this is taken with a shitty phone camera, I think it represents college life pretty well.
Here’s me falling asleep while trying to study calculus.
