I love music…for the most part I can listen to anything as long as it has a good beat and isn’t too repititive. There are some songs that just bring back memories for me. Not all of the memories are necessarily good but it’s kind of cool how a simple song can bring back memories and feelings and emotions like that. Some songs I remember playing a game while listening and having fun, this current one reminds me of a girl I had a crush on back in Sophmore year, which didn’t turn out too well.

That’s one of the main things I love about the various arts. Pictures, music, paintings, etc, all have the ability to make people feel things or think about things they otherwise wouldn’t. It an impressive power.

In case you were wondering, the song I’m listening to is by a band called Tragedy Letters- In Love In Lust, they may still have a myspace, they broke up a while ago.

On a side note, I was fiddling with an unwound paper clip in Fi today, so it was kind of a Z shape but with the vertical line being more…vertical, not as diagonal. Anyways, while playing with it and twirling it, at one angle it reminded me of a titration curve. If you don’t know that those are here: http://www.chemicool.com/img1/graphics/titration-strong-acid-35ml.gif
I don’t know I just thought it was funny that I thought of that.

On a final sidenote while I was talking about memory before check out this woman who has episodic memory, aka- she remembers practically every minute detail of her life. It’s pretty incredible.
